Hudson's Oak is a Redwood City based Americana band that formed in 2025. What started in a garage became something worth taking to a stage. The band plays covers with care and intention, choosing songs for what they say and how they feel rather than for easy recognition. Alan plays harmonica with inventive and expressive skill, adding dimensions and texture to the music. Mike plays guitar with an intricacy and beauty that reward a careful ear. Joanna's voice is the kind that carries a room, full of feeling and warmth and the confidence that comes from knowing how to mean what you sing. The band takes its name from a tree that sits in Joanna's front yard and the owl, Hudson, who has made his home there.
